Youth unemployment and lack of income-generating skills leave many boys in rural Kenya without hope or direction. With limited opportunities, they become vulnerable to crime, substance abuse, and poverty. Yet, with the right tools, these boys can build sustainable livelihoods and become agents of change in their communities.
Our Buy a Hive for a Boy initiative empowers boys through beekeeping by gifting them a fully-assembled beehive. This practical skill not only teaches responsibility but also provides a source of income from honey production. We also offer training and mentorship to help them succeed in beekeeping as a long-term project.
